Clean - 7 x 1
135 - 155 - 175 - 185 - 205 - 225 -235 (fail x 3), 235
30 lb PR! Like yesterday it took me 4 tries because I wasn't quite getting under the bar but finally nailed it on the fourth try.
800m: 3:41
:30 PR! Felt really good going out. One of the girls who was behind me started catching up around the 100m mark and I was able to shift into a higher gear and leave her behind. I can't remember the last time I've done that.
30 - day fast food challenge day 5
This week has been insane as far as my performance in the gym is concerned. Three massive PRs in a week plus a solid workout on monday. Once I can get some protein power I think things are really going to take off for me as far as gym performance goes.
Next week is going to be the first true test of my willpower. I'll be getting paid at some point, plus the following weekend I'm planning on going out to Mississippi to see my family. Traveling is always tough for me diet-wise because I always get fast food while I'm on the road. I'll have to buy some cold cuts and a cooler with me so I have something to eat on the way up and back.
Got into debate with a co-woker today about subway and whether is was considered fast food or not since we do have one in our common area. For the purposes of this challenge I will consider subway to be fast food since I can buy cold cuts at a grocery store for cheaper and that will last me longer. I can't give myself an inch on this challenge because I know I'll go on a subway bender if I don't and while that place might not be as bad as say a Burger King, it's still a major drain on my wallet.
